Achmea announces early redemption of 8.375 percent Fixed Rate Tier 1 Capital Securities

​As part of normal capital management activities, Achmea B.V. has decided that it will exercise its right to redeem early its outstanding €225 million 8.375 percent Fixed Rate Tier 1 Capital Securities in full. In accordance with terms and conditions, the securities will be redeemed on the first optional redemption date being the interest payment date falling on 23 May, 2013. Achmea has obtained prior approval of the Dutch Central Bank for the optional redemption of these securities.
