Achmea reaches settlement with the Public Prosecution Service in the Health Center case

With a settlement of €50,000, Achmea has closed the case surrounding the Achmea Health Centers (AHC). This concerned a tax issue dating from 2007. Achmea itself reported the issue to the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration in early 2014 and took corrective action.

The Achmea Executive Board greatly regrets the issue and is content that the matter is now resolved as far as AHC is concerned. Achmea demands of its staff that integrity is treated as being of paramount importance in all activities. Achmea had already tightened up its internal procedures.
