Bianca Tetteroo appointed a member of Achmea’s Executive Board; Roelof Konterman appointed Vice-Chairman

Bianca Tetteroo (46) has been appointed a member of Achmea’s Executive Board by the Supervisory Board. She will take on responsibility for pensions and life insurance, asset management and Achmea Bank as of 15 June 2015. At the same time, Roelof Konterman (58) has been made Vice-Chairman of Achmea’s Executive Board. He has been a member of the Executive Board since 2013.

Bianca Tetteroo has led Achmea’s Pension & Life division since 2012. Her appointment to the Executive Board fills the vacancy left by the recent departure of Danny van der Eijk.

Career summary
Bianca Tetteroo - a qualified registeraccountant and business administrator - started her career at Mazars accountancy firm in 1988. In 1996 she entered the financial sector when she joined what was then Fortis. In 2009 she switched to Achmea, where she held the position of financial director at pension provider Syntrus Achmea. Bianca Tetteroo has led the Pension & Life division since 2012.

Composition of the Executive Board
As of 15 June 2015, Achmea’s Executive Board will comprise Willem van Duin (Chairman), Roelof Konterman (Vice-Chairman), Huub Arendse (CFO), Henk Timmer (CRO), Jeroen van Breda Vriesman and Bianca Tetteroo.
