EY to be Achmea’s new auditor

EY will be Achmea’s new external auditor with effect from the financial year 2021. The shareholders approved the appointment at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders that was held yesterday. EY will take over from PwC, who will continue to work for Achmea until the audit process for the financial year 2020 is completed. Achmea is changing its auditors due to the mandatory rotation of audit firms.
