Green light merger De Friesland Zorgverzekeraar and Achmea

The planned merger between De Friesland Zorgverzekeraar and Achmea will go ahead. After a thorough investigation, the Dutch Competition Authority (NMa) has approved the required permit and the merger of the two parties can proceed.

De Friesland and Achmea are pleased that the NMa permit procedure has resulted in a positive decision. For the coming five years De Friesland will remain largely autonomous within Achmea.​
