Piotr Kowalczewski appointed President at Oranta

The Eureko Executive Board has appointed Piotr Kowalczewski as President at Oranta, starting August 2011. In this role he reports to Oranta Board of Directors Chairman Jeroen van Breda Vriesman.

“We are pleased that Piotr has accepted this challenge,” said Willem van Duin, Chairman of the Eureko Executive Board. “Eureko is fully committed to Russia . one of our three core markets for future growth. Thanks to his long association with our international activities, Piotr has a deep understanding of our group priorities and strengths, and their relevance for Oranta.s growth in Russia. We wish him success in this new role.”

Piotr, of Polish nationality, has been part of the Eureko group for more than 10 years. He was previously Eureko.s representative in the management board of PZU and played a key role in the acquisition of Oranta in 2008.
