Uco Vegter becomes new divisional chair of Interpolis

Uco Vegter has been appointed divisional chair of Interpolis as of 1 September 2023. He succeeds Chantal Vergouw, who joined KPN’s Board of Management on 1 June 2023.

For the past three and a half years, Uco has been CEO of Eureko Sigorta, Achmea’s subsidiary in Turkey. Prior to this, he spent five years as managing director of Achmea International. In this role, he was responsible for all Achmea’s international operations.

Uco has a wide-ranging international and domestic insurance background, managerial and entrepreneurial qualities and extensive experience in banking distribution. On behalf of the Executive Board, I would like to thank Uco for his significant contribution to the development of Eureko Sigorta. I hope he enjoys his new role at Interpolis and wish him every success.”

It is not yet known who will succeed Uco Vegter. In view of the importance of Eureko Sigorta for Achmea, the procedure for the appointment of his successor has of course already started. Further information will follow as soon as possible.
