Van Lonkhuijzen and Lückerath appointed to the Supervisory Board

Eureko has appointed two new members to the Supervisory Board with effect from 1 July 2011. The appointments fill existing vacancies. The appointment of Ms Joke van Lonkhuijzen follows the merger agreement with De Friesland Zorgverzekeraar. Ms Mijntje Lückerath has been appointed through the legal framework of the enforced recommendation right of the Central Works’ Council. The appointment took place in an extraordinary shareholders meeting.

Joke van Lonkhuijzen-Hoekstra (1960) is Chairman of the Board at GGZ inGeest in Amsterdam. She was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Stichting Waalborg in Druten and Director of Integra Zorggroep in Alkmaar. After studying Organization and Management at the Business School Leeuwarden, she earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Glasgow University and a Master of Change Management (MCM) at the VU University Amsterdam. Since 2009 she has been a member of the Supervisory Board of De Friesland Zorgverzekeraar.

Mijntje Lückerath-Rovers (1968) is Professor of Corporate Governance at Nyenrode Business University. In 1994 Ms Lückerath completed her studies in Financial Business Economics. From 1994 to 2001 she worked at Rabobank International in various financial positions. In 2007 she obtained her PhD at Erasmus University. She is also an associate with the Master of Financial Law programme at Erasmus University. Since 2009 she has been a Supervisory Director for ASN Bank’s investment funds and green funds.
