Lifetri and Achmea merge their pension and life insurance portfolios

Lifetri Verzekeringen N.V. and Lifetri Uitvaartverzekeringen N.V. (hereinafter referred to as Lifetri) legally merged with Achmea Pensioen- en Levensverzekeringen N.V. (hereinafter referred to as Achmea) on 1 October 2026. De Nederlandsche Bank, in its capacity as supervisory authority, has approved the transfer of Lifetri’s insurance portfolios to Achmea as part of the legal merger.

The legal merger does not affect policyholders’ insurance terms and conditions. However, certain practical matters may change, such as the name in which the bank account is registered. Policyholders have been informed of these changes individually by letter.
