Nadine Beister to be new Group HR Director at Achmea

Nadine Beister will start as Achmea’s Group Human Resources (HR) Director on 1 February 2023. She succeeds Elly Ploumen, who has held this position since 2011.

Since 2016 Nadine Beister has worked at Hema, where she has been Chief People Officer and a member of the management team for the past three and a half years. Her previous positions include acting HR Director at creative agency Wayne Parker Kent and HR Director Digital & Technology at publishing house Sanoma. 

Bianca Tetteroo, chair of Achmea’s Executive Board, is delighted by the arrival of Nadine Beister: “In addition to her extensive knowledge of all facets of HR, Nadine has considerable experience in and feeling for the retail market and digital transformation. After handing over her work, Elly Ploumen will be leaving Achmea to focus on managerial and societal activities.
